1. Thank You – before I get out of bed I say thank you to God, the Divine, Mother Earth, and the universe for this day that you have given me. Thank you for everything in my life.
2. Breathe – breathing is the key to calmness and to connecting to ourselves.
A great breathing exercise is:
Place you left hand on your heart and your right hand on your belly. Close your eyes.
Breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. After you finish the out breath count backwards from 10 to 1.
The stress melts away and allows you to be present.
3. Nature – nature is my healing ground. There is no stress in nature. It only surrounds you with love. So take a walk in nature , look at the clouds moving. Feel natures ease and love.
4. I Am Love – say it to yourself everyday. Because you are pure love. You were born pure love and it has never left you.
5. Sitting Quietly
Allow yourself a few minutes each day to sit quietly. No distractions. Just listen to your heart beat or your breath. All thoughts may cease for a moment. That moment is the space when you are at one with yourself and all else. A moment is all it takes to connect. Give yourself that time to just BE.
